[2016 concept design Award] Won the Gold Award and the first Newcomer Award at the "JCD concept design Awards 2016"
NOMURA was in charge of creating the space for the "TOMOKO KODERA CONCEPT SHOP" and "SUGALABO".
It won the Gold Award, Silver Award and Newcomer Award at the JCD concept design Awards 2016 (sponsored by the Japan Commercial environmental design Association).
This year, 528 works were entered, and "TOMOKO KODERA CONCEPT SHOP", whose spatial concept design was handled by Tomonori Fukano, won the Kosaka Design Award in 2014.
Following the "W Guangzhou FEI" award won by Ryu (AND), this is the first time in two years that the horse has won a gold award.
In addition, "SUGALABO", which was designed by Hironori Takeuchi (A.N.D.), won the Silver Award and also the Newcomer Award for young designers under the age of 35.
We received this award for the first time. It was the result of high praise for our work, which foreshadows future spatial concept design, and shows expectations for new talent.

■What is the JCD concept design Award?
The award began in 1974 with the aim of honoring spatial concept design, mainly in commercial environments. It is held every year, and the value and potential of spatial concept design of the time are recognized.
