The entrance features a large symbolic tree representing the growth of children who spend six years with their school bags.
The symbolic tree features Seiban's brand sign, "Angel's Wings," on a school bag, and also displays many other types of school bags, serving as a sign object that attracts visitors.
Furthermore, the leather used in the school bags was incorporated into the facade's hanging walls, sign panels, and stair risers, using the colorful leather to enhance children's anticipation for their school bags, while also highlighting the wide variety of Seiban school bags available and their durability, ensuring they can be used safely for six years.

Award-winning work title: concept design Handbook for Creating Comfortable Spaces for Children (Basic Edition)

Work overview:

This is an internal concept design research document for in-house designers involved in creating spaces. It was compiled as a basic concept design handbook based on research and studies of children's behavioral characteristics, age-specific body sizes, and accident cases that have occurred in facilities that attract many people, all of which should be considered when planning and constructing designs. All of the staff involved in the editing are female employees who are currently raising children, and their perspectives reflect their experiences as mothers. This is one of the activities of Team M, a team of female employees at Nomura Kogeisha, which aims to utilize childcare experience in space creation. The process of editing the research activities also resulted in a practical examination of working styles for women raising children. We will continue our research and studies, developing a second edition that will further deepen the content based on the content of this booklet while incorporating feedback from internal users.
