Title of award-winning work: concept design handbook basic edition for comfortable space with children

Work overview:

In-house knowledge research materials for in-house designers involved in space creation. We conducted surveys and research on children's behavioral concept design, body sizes by age, and accident cases that occurred at facilities that attract customers, which we wanted to keep in mind when constructing plans and concept design. The editorial staff consisted entirely of female employees raising children, reflecting their perspectives from their experience raising children. This is one of the activities of Team M, which consists of female employees of Nomura Kogeisha, with the aim of making use of childcare experience in space creation. In the process of compiling the survey and research activities, we also examined work styles for women who are raising children. While listening to the voices of in-house users, the contents of this booklet will be developed into a second concept that further deepens the contents, and continuous research will be carried out.
