[2016 concept design Awards] NOMURA Co.,Ltd. wins two awards at the Digital Signage Awards 2016, strengthening its efforts in spatial design using digital technology.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. has received awards at the Digital Signage Awards 2016 (organized by the Digital Signage Consortium), with two awards in the Technology/Hardware category and one award in the Creative category, as follows:

The signage is very fun and interesting. A display is attached to a Yaskawa Electric robot, and it rotates left, right, up, down, and diagonally. Although it mixes movement control technology and display interlocking, it is also technically advanced. In the future, signage will likely increase to include a signage that entertains viewers, as well as 3D and 4D. It will serve as a reference for the Cool Japan that Japan is sending out.

The objection side moves with projection mapping. It's easy to say, but I think it took a lot of effort to make something like this. It is a work that impressed me that I was able to make it so far.

- "Yaskawa Electric Mirai-kan" is displays and experience facility established as part of Yaskawa Electric's 100th anniversary project, along with a large-scale renovation of Head Office office and factory facilities. The "Robotics Signage" development project won the Grand Prize and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the Japan Sign concept design Awards 2015. The "Mechatronics Wall" development project won the Best Award at the same awards ceremony.
・Seven Park Ario Kashiwa "Seven Park Ario Kashiwa" exceeded 1 million visitors within 10 days of its opening. Among them, "Sky Kids" plans and produces interactive playground equipment and large-screen content that stimulate children's playfulness with the theme of physical communication.
- As part of the renewal of Himeji Castle, a World Cultural Heritage site and National Treasure, AR technology is being used in displays presentation. Visitors can view the appearance of Himeji Castle in its heyday and the structure of its buildings on their mobile devices. The project won both the Grand Prize and the Gold Prize at the Hong Kong Asia concept design Awards 2015.
・" SKY CIRCUS Sunshine 60 Observation Deck" We plan and produce a world-class observation deck in collaboration with Dentsu where you can enjoy "view" and play with "technology" using various latest technologies such as VR.
- Planned and developed a seven-language app for "Fujimeguri" and the "Yamanashi Prefectural Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center" (opened June 22, 2016) that uses beacon positioning and AR to guide and explain displays within the facility and local tourist spots. (Jointly planned and developed with Yamanashi Prefecture, Musegram Co., Ltd., and Kuujit Co., Ltd.)
