The Kawasaki City Fujiko F. Fujio Museum, which was planned, designed and construction by NOMURA, won the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, the highest award in the Children's Future concept design Creative category of the 6th Kids concept design Awards.
The Kids concept design Award (hosted by the Kids concept design Council, a Cabinet Office certified NPO) is an awards system to realize and popularize the Kids concept design philosophy of "concept design contributes to the safety and security of children," "concept design that opens up creativity and the future," and "concept design makes it easy to have and raise children." The Grand Prize was awarded to the most outstanding work from among 249 Kids concept design Award winning works, and this year four works were awarded in four categories.
