NOMURA celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2012 and is now selling horse costumes, which are the company's original creations.
It will be on displays in the lobby on the first floor of our head office building from December 21st (until January 31st, 2013).

Our roots can be traced back to 1892, when our founder, Taisuke Nomura, joined Kairakuza, a playhouse in Takamatsu, Shikoku, as a stage set.
On the stage of the play "Tasuke Shiobara", Taisuke created a "karakuri" that makes a line of tears flow from the eyes of the horse's costume in the parting scene of the main character and his beloved horse.
It is said that the audience who saw it roared with surprise and excitement.

As we celebrate our 120th anniversary this year, NOMURA Ltd. has established the "Want to Amuse and Surprise People" symbolizing our spirit.
The horses that are still used in performances are now installed here, and with renewed enthusiasm, we will continue to provide surprises and excitement to our audiences.

In addition, the flower object in the entrance hall on the 1st floor of the head office is also being redecorated for the New Year.
Please look at them all together.
