The origin of "Delight and Passion" - the "Dan-gaeshi" model is on displays at our head office building.

NOMURA, Ltd. is displays a replica model of the "Dan-gaeshi" technique in the lobby on the first floor of its head office building from today, November 25th.
The model is a reproduction of the "Dangeshi" performance of chrysanthemum doll that was held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall during the Taisho period.
It was produced to commemorate the 120th anniversary of our company's founding in 2012.
Each stage is based on seven scenes from the story "Tenjiku Tokubei Kanbanashi," and depicts the craftsmen working behind the scenes.
Dangaeshi refers to the use of the seriage prepared under the stage (Naraku), the suspension from the ceiling, and the writing of the sleeves of the stage,
It is a production in which the props, lighting engineers, musicians, etc. work together in perfect harmony.
The founder of our company, Taisuke Nomura, started out as a stage prop for the theater, and wielded his skill in the stage return at the Kokugikan, greatly delighting the audience.
The source of Delight and Passion: step-turning.
