The Great East Japan Earthquake reconstruction support charity "LIGHTING OBJET" will be displays in Iwaki and Ishinomaki
NOMURA will be displays "Tohoku and Tokyo Collaboration! LIGHTING OBJET Light Box" in Iwaki from Friday, March 7th and in Ishinomaki from Monday, March 10th.
The "LIGHTING OBJET Light Box" was turned on on December 4th last year, 1,000 days after the earthquake, and was on displays in the plaza at the head office for about two months. The "Light Box" was made in a workshop with the people of Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, and Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, who had strengthened ties with the Nomura Group through the "Let's Connect Together Project!", a support activity for the Great East Japan Earthquake, as well as people from companies and schools in the Odaiba area and members of NOMURA Group. Over 400 "Light Boxes," each unique and colorful, were collected and put on displays in our "Machi Hako" container construction method. Many people came to see them during Christmas and the winter holidays.
displays will be held on the following dates so that the people of Iwaki and Ishinomaki, where the workshop was held, can also see it. We hope that the "Boxes of Light" will brighten up the streets of Tohoku, connect Tohoku and Tokyo, and become a "light of hope."
