The "Light Box" will be displays again this year at the LIGHTING OBJET 2014 Light and Sound Symphony, a charity event to support the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.

NOMURA, Ltd. will be displays "Tohoku and Tokyo Collaboration! LIGHTING OBJET 2014 Light Box," which will light up the Odaiba area with illuminations, in the plaza in front of the first floor of the head office from December 15th to February 14th next year.
The "Light Box" is a kit designed by Taizo Matsumura, a sculptor from Aomori Prefecture, and is a box that changes patterns when held up to light. Our displays space will be a satellite venue for LIGHTING OBJET 2014, which will be held at the Tokyo Building TOKIA from December 11th.
The "Light Boxes" were made through a workshop held after the Great East Japan Earthquake among members of Ishinomaki City, Minamisanriku Town, Omori and Ishinomaki Marche in Miyagi Prefecture, companies and schools in the Odaiba area, and members of NOMURA Group, who have strengthened ties through NOMURA Group's support activity "Let's Connect Together Project!" Over 400 "Light Boxes," each unique and colorful, were collected and will be put on displays in our "Machi Hako" container construction method.
Therefore, the lighting ceremony will be held from 17:00 on the 15th (Monday).
If you are in Odaiba, please stop by NOMURA and take a look at the light illuminations.
We hope that the "box of light" will color Odaiba, connect Tohoku and Tokyo, and become a "light of hope."
