[2015 concept design Awards] Winner of the "Japan Space concept design Award 2015" and "34th Display Industry Award (2015)"

This time, a project for which NOMURA was in charge of spatial creation has won the Japan Space concept design Award 2015 (sponsored by Japan Space concept design Association) and the 34th Display Industry Award 2015 (sponsored by Japan Display Federation).

 

Four works were awarded out of approximately 800 entries at the Japan Space concept design Award 2015. The Osaka International Peace Center, whose spatial concept design was handled by Mitsuhide Yoshinaga, and BbyB. GINZA, a luxury chocolate shop from Belgium that is opening in Japan for the first time, whose spatial concept design was handled by Masumi Hotta together with nendo Ltd., won the Excellence Award.

 

In addition, the experiential displays "Attack on Titan," for which Yamada Ryuta was in charge of spatial direction, was awarded the Jury Prize, and the "Noguchi Hideyo Memorial Hall," for which Mori Seiichiro was in charge of spatial planning, was awarded the Planning and Research Prize.

 

Furthermore, at the 34th Display Industry Awards (2015), the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum, for which Mitsunaga Masaaki was responsible for the spatial concept design, won the Display Industry Special Award, two other works won Excellence Awards, four won Encouragement Awards, and one won a Regional Award.

Founded in 1966 and now in its 49th year, the award is the world's largest spatial and environmental concept design award, sponsored by the Japan concept design Space Association. It continues to honor excellent concept design that aim to create communication concept design in space.
