[2015 concept design Award] Winner of the British "Restaurant & Bar Design Awards" for the second consecutive year.

Toranomon HOP (Minato-ku, Tokyo), directed by NOMURA Co.,Ltd. and Ryu Kosaka, and designed by Keisuke Sasaki, won the top prize in the Asian Bar category at the internationally prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2015 (organized by Restaurant & Bar Design Awards). This marks the second consecutive year that a restaurant has won in this category, following last year's win for W Guangzhou FEI. Furthermore, it is the first time in the world that the same company has won in this category for two consecutive years.

 

Founded in 2009 and celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, the awards ceremony was held on October 1st at the Old Truman Brewery in London. Approximately 700 people, including designers, media representatives, and industry experts, attended from around the world, including the UK.

 

This year, there were 860 entries from over 70 countries worldwide, and in the Asian Bar category, in addition to Japan, there were entries from approximately 10 Asian countries including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India. "Toranomon HOP," which was selected as the grand prize winner, was praised by the judges for "beautifully expressing the essence of the material within a simple concept design."
