[2015 concept design Award] Received the UK "Restaurant & Bar Design Awards" for the second year in a row

"Toranomon HOP", directed by NOMURA Kogeisha and Ryu Kosaka, and designed by Keisuke Sasaki, was held at the "Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2015" (sponsored by the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards), an award specializing in internationally authoritative dining spaces. ” (Minato-ku, Tokyo) won the highest award in the Asian Bar category. This is the second year in a row that we have received an award in this category, following last year's "W Guangzhou FEI." It is also the first time in the world that the same company has received the award for two consecutive years in the same category.

 

Founded in 2009 and celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, the awards ceremony was held on October 1st at the Old Truman Brewery in London. Approximately 700 people, including designers, media representatives, and industry experts, attended from around the world, including the UK.

 

This year, there were 860 entries from more than 70 countries around the world, and in the Asian Bar category, there were entries from about 10 countries in Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India, in addition to Japan. "Toranomon HOP", which was selected for the Grand Prize, was evaluated by the judges as "in a simple concept design, the essence of the material is beautifully expressed."
