[2015 concept design Award] Awarded at the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards for the third consecutive year.

We are pleased to announce that the Yaskawa Electric Mirai-kan (Client: Yaskawa concept design Corporation), for which Kei Tamura of NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of spatial concept design and Kenji Ogino was in charge of creative engineering direction, has received the Excellence Award in the Public Space category at the 23rd Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2015 (APIDA), hosted by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA).

 

The award, which celebrates its 23rd anniversary this year, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on November 23, with approximately 300 designers and industry experts gathered to hold the award ceremony. This year, there were more than 600 entries from the Asia-Pacific region, and 1 Gold Award, 1 Silver Award, 1 Bronze Award, 2 Excellence Awards, and BEST 10 were selected from each of the 10 categories.

 

This is the third year in a row that Toyota won the award, following four awards, including "W Guangzhou FEI" in 2013 and "Toyota Museum of Industry and Technology" in 2014.

Organized by the Hong Kong Interior concept design Association (HKIDA), this is Asia's leading award that evaluates projects based on innovation, functionality, and spatial planning. Celebrating its 23rd anniversary in 2015, it receives approximately 600 entries annually from across the Asia-Pacific region. For 23 years, it has promoted professional standards and ethics in interior concept design practice in the Asia-Pacific region, continuously raising awareness among interior concept design projects and designers.
