[2015 concept design Award] Winner of the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards for the third consecutive year
At the 23rd Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2015 (APIDA), hosted by the Hong Kong Interior concept design Association (HKIDA), the Yaskawa Electric Miraikan (client: Yaskawa Electric Corporation), whose spatial concept design was handled by NOMURA, Ltd.'s Tamura Keiyu and creative engineering direction was handled by Ogino Kenji, was awarded the Excellence Award in the Public Space category.
The award, which celebrates its 23rd anniversary this year, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on November 23, with approximately 300 designers and industry experts gathered to hold the award ceremony. This year, there were more than 600 entries from the Asia-Pacific region, and 1 Gold Award, 1 Silver Award, 1 Bronze Award, 2 Excellence Awards, and BEST 10 were selected from each of the 10 categories.
This is the third year in a row that Toyota won the award, following four awards, including "W Guangzhou FEI" in 2013 and "Toyota Museum of Industry and Technology" in 2014.

Organized by the Hong Kong Interior concept design Association (HKIDA), this is Asia's leading award that evaluates works based on innovation, functionality, spatial planning, etc. Celebrating its 23rd year since its establishment in 2015, the awards attract approximately 600 entries from the Asia-Pacific region every year. For 23 years, the awards have promoted professional standards and ethics in interior concept design practice in the Asia-Pacific region, and have provided recognition for interior concept design projects and designers.
