Parasports, athlete support

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Group wholeheartedly supports parasports, including para powerlifting, and its affiliated para powerlifter, Tetsuo Nishizaki (men's 49kg class, competed in the 54kg class at the Rio 2016 Paralympics). Through parasports, we aim to contribute to creating a space where everyone, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or disability, can live with peace of mind as a member of society.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. supports active athletes who continue to participate in sports while working as employees, helping them to prepare for their future athletic activities.
Powerlifter Tetsuo Nishizaki joined NOMURA Co.,Ltd. through the Japan Olympic Committee's "Athnavi" program, which supports employment for top athletes, and competed in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. His continuous efforts to improve have inspired and moved many people. Currently, the circle of support for him is expanding both inside and outside the company, fostering a new sense of unity.

Sports Ecosystem Promotion Council

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Group is participating in the "Sports Ecosystem Promotion Council" (established in January 2022), which aims to promote the sports industry in the DX era and establish a sports ecosystem. Together with the council members, we aim to create a new ecosystem starting from the sports industry that will address social issues.
