In our corporate management, we consider the interests of stakeholders, including shareholders, and aim to cooperate appropriately with them. Based on the importance of co-creating value with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, employees, business partners, local communities, shareholders and investors, we will work on appropriate collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Based on this, from the perspective that appropriately distributing the profits and results generated through value collaboration and productivity improvement to multiple stakeholders will lead to maintaining the momentum of wage increases and sustainable economic development. Based on the importance of giving back to employees and being considerate to business partners, we will proceed with the following initiatives.

1. Giving back to employees
Our company will focus on maximizing added value by focusing on investing management resources in growth fields, developing employees' abilities and improving their skills, and other means to achieve sustainable growth and improve productivity. Based on the profits and results generated, we will increase wages in an appropriate manner that takes into account the company's situation.We will also raise wages in an appropriate manner that takes into account the company's circumstances. We aim to provide sustainable returns to our employees by proactively focusing on investing in human resources in order to contribute to the improvement of employee performance.

Specifically, regarding wage increases, we will continue to work to improve employee treatment, including base increases, based on domestic wage trends and our company's business performance.
In addition, we have built the Nomura Development Program, a platform that can be used for human resource development and career development, and provide training opportunities tailored to the role and grade of each employee. We will work to provide a variety of learning options depending on the person and place of work.
