Therefore, in order to promote the active procurement of fair wood (legal and sustainable wood), we have established the "Nomura Wood Procurement Guidelines" and practice the "Declaration of Support for Fair Wood" to our employees, business partners, and society at large.
We aim to provide added value to our customers through the use of fair wood and support activities.

In addition, we investigate and publicize “extremely high-risk materials” and alternatives, as well as survey “safety-confirmed” timber suppliers to ensure that our employees and business partners obtain FairWood. We are also developing an easy-to-use support system. In addition, we are strengthening new initiatives such as study sessions for the entire industry, including those within the company, and hands-on tours that connect forests and creators.
