Understanding and penetration of diversity and inclusion

Aiming to create a workplace where diverse human resources can demonstrate their abilities, we conduct diversity training for all employees every year. Through e-learning and workshops, we aim to raise awareness of unconscious bias and provide appropriate growth opportunities for each employee.

 

Promoting women's participation and advancement in the workplace

We are working to foster an environment and culture where all employees can be themselves and demonstrate their individuality and expertise. As part of this, we are also focusing on promoting women's participation in the workplace and working to identify and resolve issues. In particular, we are formulating and implementing an action plan based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace, with the aim of creating an environment where women can work comfortably, fully demonstrate their motivation and abilities, and continue to play an active role for a long time. We are working on this from both the perspectives of systems and culture.

 

Action Plan

We will create an environment in which each employee, regardless of gender, can work in a healthy and energetic manner, achieve a good work-life balance, and demonstrate high levels of creativity.

① Aim to increase the percentage of women in management positions to 15% or more
② Achieve childcare leave utilization rate of 100% for women and 60% or more for men

Promotion of active participation of people with disabilities

To enable employees with disabilities to thrive by making the most of their individuality and strengths, we are working to improve job content and support systems, thereby encouraging them to expand their work scope and experience a sense of personal growth. Going forward, we will continue to promote the creation of a workplace where everyone can continue working long-term with peace of mind by improving employment conditions and work environments that take into consideration the characteristics of disabilities and providing support for employees to settle in.

 

Initiatives to support work-life balance

We have put in place systems that allow for flexible working styles, such as flextime and telecommuting, and we support the use of these systems to balance work with childcare, nursing care, medical treatment, etc. Furthermore, to ensure that employees can use these systems with peace of mind, we are promoting understanding and encouraging their use by setting up a consultation desk, distributing handbooks, and providing regular explanations and education.

 

External evaluation

In 2021, we received the Eruboshi certification (third level) as a company that promotes women's participation in the workforce.

In 2023, we received Kurumin certification as a "childcare support company."
