Compliance program operations

The Group strives to instill a compliance awareness among its officers and employees, including thorough adherence to its rules, corporate ethics and social norms, including its management philosophy and code of conduct.
To increase the effectiveness and continuity of these activities, we update our guidebook every year by reorganizing our code of conduct and regulations in an easy-to-understand way, and conduct compliance education every year based on the contents of that guidebook. We also measure the effectiveness of our guidebook and education every year through a compliance survey, which we use to improve our guidebook and education. We have established and are operating this annual PDCA cycle as our "Compliance Program."


Internal reporting system

The Group has introduced an internal reporting system to prevent, detect early and respond to acts that violate the Group's regulations, corporate ethics and social norms.
If an officer or employee of the Group commits or is likely to commit a violation of laws, regulations, company rules, or corporate ethics in the course of business, the whistleblower can report the violation either under his/her real name or anonymously. A hotline for receiving reports has been set up outside the company, and operations are conducted in accordance with the rules set out in the regulations to ensure that whistleblowers are not treated disadvantageously as a result of their reporting.
