overview

We have created an application that allows you to learn more about the past and present of Tsumagoi Village.
You can have an experience suited to each of the three locations: "Asama no Ibuki," a farm shop selling Tsumagoi village's local products; "Kambara Kannon-do," where human bones were excavated from the great eruption in 1783; and "Tsumagoi Local History Museum," which displays materials from the time of the eruption.

-Learn about the past of Tsumagoi Village-
By holding a tablet over the current Mt. Asama and playing the AR content, you can experience the large eruption of Mt. Asama that occurred in 1783 and the changes in the ridgeline of Mt. Asama due to eruptive activity. You can understand it with explanations using pictures.

-Learn about the current situation of Tsumagoi Village-
You can also see traces of the eruption that have been excavated, as well as explanations of Tsumagoi Village's four seasons and specialty products. By using 360-degree images of the rhododendron garden in spring and the starry sky in summer, users can enjoy the experience as if they were actually there.

Issues/requests

・We want to attract people and revitalize the Kamabara Kannon-do, Asama no Ibuki, and Tsumagoi Local Museum areas.
・We want to make it known that Kamabara Kannon-do is a valuable place that has existed since ancient times.
・We want to convey to tourists the details of the eruption in an easy-to-understand manner.
・We want to communicate the charm of the current Tsumagoi Village.
We have received the above requests.

solution

・In addition to explanations using images, we have created content that allows you to experience the eruption by using AR.
・In the tourism commentary for Tsumagoi Village, we have added information for actually going to the site, including not only explanatory texts but also QR codes that connect to maps and tourist sites.
