Toranomon Hop

[Outline of the project]

Toranomon HOP is a bar located in Toranomon Hills where you can enjoy a wide variety of German beers.
In order to embody the "Gathering Hub" concept for the Toranomon Hills commercial store, we aimed to create a store where borderless communication could flourish.
With more than half of the store's walls facing the building's curtain wall and overlooking the outdoor garden "Oval Square," the store's presence is projected to the square while simultaneously creating a comfortable space surrounded by trees.
The bar counter expresses the style of German beer through its heavy mortar finish using traditional motifs, while the counter top and furniture that you touch are all made of thick, solid wood with a band saw finish, resulting in a friendly and approachable form.
Furthermore, the protruding standing tables create a lively atmosphere reminiscent of a street-level shop, with people and goods spilling out onto the street.
