Toman Toys Tokyo Head Office

This is a Tokyo Head Office relocation project of Toman Toys, which handles the planning, manufacturing, sales, and consulting business of character miscellaneous goods and toys. Against the backdrop of rapid business growth, we started with the aim of expanding our office and rebranding our company, and we were in charge of construction from concept design design to interiors and construction work.

Based on the "creative power" and "trust" that Toman Toys has built up so far, we are creating a new face of the company with an eye on future growth while valuing a friendly and soft corporate image.

The layout plan reflects the company culture of closeness and friendliness in the spatial composition. concept design used a combination of materials in a one-tone color based on wood to express the intellectual atmosphere of an idea company. In addition, FF&E coordination based on Scandinavian furniture fosters a soft atmosphere of the corporate image.

The corporate colors incorporated throughout as accents create a sense of unity throughout the space, creating a one-of-a-kind office.

As this relocation project was also an endeavor with an eye to the future, we proceeded with the project through repeated dialogue with President Fujii and the entire staff. Our aim was to carefully preserve the corporate image that Toman Toys has, while also adding new appeal to visitors through concept design.

[Creating a new impression and spatial features]
Upon entering the entrance, the lounge space can be seen through the glass, creating a showcase-like atmosphere. Taking advantage of its location on the 34th floor, the layout allows for a clear line of sight from the entrance through the louvers to the window, making the most of the view.
interiors is based on wood, with a soft impression, and is combined with elegant materials such as tiles and glass to express the intelligence of an ideation company through the texture of the materials.

[Environment for internal use]
To make up for the lack of internal space, we installed family restaurant-style bench seats by the windows with great views, which can be used for a wide range of purposes, from meetings to meals.In the center of the internal shared space, there is a large counter with mosaic art drawn by an employee, which has become a symbol of the new office.

[Product displays space]
To make effective use of the limited space, displays space is positioned along the flow of visitors. The size and layout allows you to imagine a store displays.

[Reducing the office space's crampedness and creating a space with a visitor area]
Rather than dividing the space with partition walls, louvers are used at the boundary with the work area to gently connect the spaces. In addition, R-shaped glass is installed at the boundary with the visitor area, providing guidance to the conference room while also creating a spatial configuration that maintains an appropriate distance from visitors.
