Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado"

Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado" is a new commercial facility that inherits and further develops the culture of the former "Harajuku Central Apartments."
Located at the southwest corner of the Jingumae intersection where Omotesando and Meiji-dori intersect, and standing shoulder to shoulder with Laforet Harajuku across the street and Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku "Omokado" diagonally across, it aims to become a new landmark in the Harajuku/Omotesando area and a hub for cultural dissemination.
Our company was responsible for the overall basic plan for the facility environment, design, layout of each section, the conception and planning of some facility merchandising, tenant leasing for the food and beverage floor, and the design and construction of some restaurants.

In the Harajuku/Jingumae area, a historical hub for cultural dissemination, we will create a new cultural hub that will continue to generate exciting culture in the long term, while passing on and evolving that history for future generations.
- The Tokyu Fudosan Group's vision, "WE ARE GREEN," will be strongly expressed through concept design, especially in the food and beverage floors.
Based on the above, the space will be designed with environmental considerations in mind.

Instead of each tenant or creator operating independently, we proposed a commercial environmental design that incorporates commercial design elements within each individual section, creating a sense of continuity and unity, enabling them to collaborate and coexist.
We proposed a fixture system that would avoid the need for demolition and rebuilding when tenants change.
We created a sense of unity within the facility, seamlessly connecting the outdoor terrace space on the upper floors with the dining area.
- We were in charge of tenant leasing for the 5th and 6th floors, which are food and beverage floors. As a new "Harajuku neighborhood eatery" where diverse people gather and create new food cultures and encounters with people, we provided a way of spending time and experiential value that had not been seen before in the Harajuku/Jingumae area.
