Tokyo Midtown Hibiya

[Project Overview]
Since the Meiji era, Hibiya has evolved into a place that provides a space for adults to socialize and relax, with the Rokumeikan, a social gathering place, and the Imperial Hotel, which was established as Japan's state guesthouse, standing side by side.
Mitsui Fudosan, the project owner, has defined "In the Park," "Entertainment," and "Elegance" as the unique values that Hibiya offers, and is creating a city that encourages the gathering and exchange of diverse cultures, sensibilities, and talents from around the world, thereby generating new, forward-looking experiences and values.

Our company was responsible for the commercial environmental design, production, and construction of the commercial floors from the basement to the third floor above ground. Based on the concept of "THE PREMIUM TIME HIBIYA," we aimed to provide visitors with a special experience in a luxurious time and space, reflecting the client's desire and incorporating concept design concept of a "theatrical space city." We created a bright and glamorous space full of adult charm, befitting Hibiya, a sacred place for arts, culture, and entertainment.
The three-story atrium, inspired by traditional theater spaces, offers an elegant space with gently curving floorboards.
The underground arcade inherits the memory of the city by reconstructing the "Sanshin Building," which was once a symbol of Hibiya in this area, with a modern concept design.
