Toko Plus Fukuoka Airport Store

This is a project to open a store at Fukuoka Airport by "Toko Plus," a company that operates stores selling travel goods and miscellaneous items at major airports.
Located on the departure floor of Fukuoka Airport's international terminal, the store offers a wide range of travel goods to help travelers prepare for their trips, providing a sense of security and enjoyment. Based on the concept of "UPLIFTING FEELING," the store's spatial concept design aims to create an uplifting atmosphere.

The client requested that the store be divided into two major zones: a suitcase and travel goods section, and a backpack and miscellaneous goods section.

Within the limited space, we placed the cash register counter in the center against the wall, dividing the store into zones on the left and right.
Additionally, by placing radial elements on the ceiling and floor around the cash register, the counter wall bearing the store's sign is made symbolic, drawing airport users into the store.
