TAIKISHA INNOVATION SITE AIkawa

Taikisha is a world-class global environmental engineering company that contributes to society with advanced technologies related to energy, air, and water.
In order to create new value, this project will generate open innovation with Taikisha's customers, academic research institutions, start-up companies, and others, and will also plan a new communication area in part of the research facility to realize collaborative creation with external customers.
Following the opening of the satellite facility in Shinjuku, "TAIKISHA INNOVATION GATE Shinjuku," in April 2023, our company was responsible for planning, concept design, digital content production, and interiors production.

Although it is a research facility, it needs to be able to communicate with people outside the facility, and due to its location, it was necessary to create a physical space as well as an environment for remote communication.
In addition, the facility has obtained ZEB* certification, and there was a request to visualize the energy flow.

When creating the space, we also carefully considered the ease of movement throughout the communication area and its operational image.
Each area - Greeting Space, Exhibition Space, Connection Space, and Creation Hub - has its own defined functionality, and we aimed to create a space that would foster communication that goes beyond just the real world, by integrating each with digital content.
Additionally, to visualize energy, we created video content that changes its expression in conjunction with the energy data collected at the facility, and also produced an energy tube monument.
