Seibu Railway Employee Training Facility "Safety Education Room" Renewal

This project involves the renovation of the "Accident Information displays Room" located within the Seibu Training Center, which was established in 2009 for the purpose of safety education for Seibu Railway employees.
In addition to the existing "displays area," we have newly established a "learning area" and created a "safety education room" with the aim of learning from past accidents, encouraging each employee to think and act for themselves, and to share an awareness toward building safety so that accidents do not happen again.
In the "displays Area," visitors can reaffirm Seibu Railway's commitment to "safety first" based on accident information accumulated to date, and learn lessons from past accidents.
In the "Learning Area," we focused on human error and incorporated the latest safety management concepts. Through experiential displays and workshops, we aimed to foster a shared awareness of safety among employees by encouraging them to think for themselves about how to solve problems and discuss them in groups.

Our company handled the planning and concept development, design, layout, signage and graphic concept design, design supervision, environmental features, exhibit execution, interior execution, and building execution.

1. Give safety education a narrative flow (story).
2. Expand the area to enhance both accident learning and safety education.
3. Encourage people to prioritize safety.
4. Replace information displays on panels with digital signage to increase the amount of information available. Improve the ease of adding information (expandability).

We have received the above request.

1. We have created an educational story to cultivate an awareness of prioritizing safety above all else.
2. We clarified the roles and functions of displays area and the learning area.
In terms of educational content, we added explanatory displays and safety learning elements that focus on why human error occurs.
3. We created a space to confront the facts of the accident and to ensure that the memory of the accident does not fade.
4. While thoroughly considering existing displays, we created displays method that allows visitors to experience and interact with the exhibits, resulting in displays with a clear flow and emphasis.
We introduced touch-panel digital signage to enable "proactive learning" and create a space where employees can share their perspectives and experiences.
