"Experience-based cafe full of car love"
This is the first motorsport-themed cafe to open at "MEGA WEB," an experiential theme park developed by Toyota Motor Corporation.
This isn't just a cafe where you park your car; we've styled it with subtle touches throughout to pique people's interest in cars.
At the center of the café is a large table modeled after the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, where Toyota Motor Corporation and other automakers from around the world compete for development purposes. The café is adorned with goods that will excite car enthusiasts and art that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. This circuit-like table is the symbol of the café and is concept design as a communication belt that encourages natural conversations among people. In fact, the café is bustling with people taking photos at various points and many conversations can be heard. We hope that families, friends, and even strangers will connect and expand their relationships through motorsport. The café's central machine is an actual racing car that has competed in a race, creating a realistic atmosphere. We have also created furniture that can only be seen here, concept design using only parts from Toyota cars. More than just furniture, it is furniture with a message and has become popular with Japanese people as well as many foreign tourists.
The food, made with carefully selected ingredients, includes lunch plates where you can choose your main and side dishes, as well as soy smoothies and soy milk donuts made with soy milk and okara from a long-established tofu shop, and gluten-free soy brownies. The menu focuses on healthy options, creating a space where people of all ages can enjoy a meal with peace of mind. This reflects Toyota Motor Corporation's initial philosophy of allowing people who may be somewhat distant from motorsport, such as women and children, to naturally experience the world of motorsport while enjoying the cafe. We are committed to providing a realistic experience that cannot be found in a cafe that simply displays cars, and we have created a space where not only core car fans, but also young women and families can enjoy the world of motorsport after visiting the cafe.
