overview

Panasonic Laboratory Tokyo (PLT) has been renewed as an R&D base in Tokyo that implements new work styles in the With/After COVID-19 environment.
PLT was established in Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo in April 2016, and then moved to the current Shiodome Hamarikyu in December 2018. In addition, it has been operated as a "co-creation laboratory" that conducts co-creation innovation activities such as AI-HUB and Robotics-HUB that collaborate inside and outside the company.

In the With / After Corona environment, we will not limit the place of work to the office, but will realize new ways of working, including online. We reviewed the value and functions required of the office and redesigned it with the PLT members under the concept of "SHARE".

“SHARE” means “sharing” various things such as “thoughts/experiences”, “information/context”, “friends/encounters” of people who work together at PLT.
With the office renovation as the start of a new "SHARE", PLT will serve as an R&D base for "questioning, feeling, and sharing" the well-being of life and work, and an office that will activate co-creative innovation activities. Even so, it is a facility that is constantly being updated by residents.
