overview

In 2006, 11 years after being completely destroyed by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, it was rebuilt as a complex commercial building "Mint Kobe" with various urban functions such as a bus terminal, cinema complex, cultural center, and offices. In 2018, in order to create the future of the city center of Kobe, we replaced most of the shops and worked on a complete renewal of the commercial environment. The concept design concept is ≪M-INT MUSEUM≫, which expresses the original lifestyle of ``Kobe-ness'', which is cultivated in the city, scenery, and an enterprising culture, where each person cherishes and enjoys everyday life. Starting with the gorgeous concept design of the elevator hall, the double-faced atrium space is equipped with wrought iron, art objects, and carefully crafted furniture, and the “M” symbolizing Mint Kobe is integrated. We participated in the project from the business concept stage, and were in charge of all aspects of the renewal project, including planning, consulting, tenant leasing, concept design design, construction, and furniture and fixture manufacturing.
