Kawasaki Azalea Renewal

<Outline of the project>

The first full-scale renovation project for Kawasaki Azalea, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The concept of the renewal is “a life-sharing mall where you can share the richness of your life”. Lifestyle zone "LIFE GRAND" where things are accumulated, GOURMESSE corresponding to a wide range of usage scenes such as "lone meal", lunch with children, dinner on the way home from work, dinner with clients, etc. ), we assisted in the complete renewal of the three zones.

Our company was responsible for environmental design (including basic and implementation), environmental construction (for Souzai Chisou, CRYSTAL ROND, etc.), and furniture and fixture manufacturing.

<Client issues>

(1) To restore the ability to attract customers with the aim of becoming a mecca for restaurants, food sales, and fashion miscellaneous goods that make use of the favorable location in front of the station, despite various conditions such as the building structure of underground public passages 30 years ago.

(2) Expand store facades to the maximum extent, create a sense of bustling concentration of stores, and create an environment that enhances purchasing motivation.

(3) New ways to use the Sunlight Plaza environment with an underground central atrium from the 1F entrance

<Solution>

① We created environmental design themes tailored to the new business zoning in each area. By setting a core theme zone environment in each area, we succeeded in connecting the different passageways and increasing customer attraction and circulation.

② To reduce construction time and costs, the store facade was rebuilt by covering the existing finishes without removing them. The ceiling and floor were basically reused, and new concept design were added to the shop front and key areas to a minimal extent, creating a sense of renewal by adding emphasis to a wide area.

3) We have provided a unique environment for the hall, including lighting fixtures, greenery, FF&E, etc., to make it suitable for use as a venue for various events, and we have created an indoor garden space where people can stop by and take a break whenever they like.
