IG Arena "d CARD LOUNGE (Premium Lounge)"

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, the IG Arena grand opened in Meijo Park, overlooking Nagoya Castle in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Boasting a capacity of 17,000 people and a ceiling height of 30 meters, making it one of the largest arenas in Japan, it adopts a hybrid oval-shaped arena surface that combines the oval shape suitable for sports viewing with the horseshoe shape suitable for concerts, enhancing both visibility and acoustic effects.
Our company was responsible for the planning, design, and construction of the "d CARD LOUNGE (Premium Lounge)," which provides a premium viewing experience at IG Arena. We helped create a hospitality space that makes you forget you're in an arena, both in terms of hardware and software.
Furthermore, we have a contract as an official supplier for "IG Arena".

The premium area, which includes a lounge, was required to provide a world-class spatial experience comparable to that of famous arenas overseas. Based on the arena's overall concept of "GO BEYOND WHAT'S POSSIBLE," the challenge was to express in the space a sense of excitement and ease of use befitting a world-class entertainment experience, and to create an "uplifting" sensation never before seen in Japan.

First, we divided the long, horizontal space along the bowl surface into three sections, symbolically designing an "uplifting" central area and left and right areas concept design around "Owari" and "Mikawa," which characterize Aichi Prefecture's identity. By creating this contrast in the space, we aimed to encourage movement between the left and right areas and express the unique character of Aichi.
Furthermore, to create a sense of exclusivity accessible only to a select few, we planned a secret room that can be accessed by opening displays wall, a surprise element designed to delight visitors. These proposals allow us to offer a new and unprecedented premium viewing experience, representing a new format for arenas in Japan.
