"Hanno Station" on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, which is the nearest station to the theme park "metsa" that I helped in 2018. Positioning the station as a base for sightseeing, the station has been renewed to be a suitable gateway to the Hanno area, which is rich in nature.
For the renewal, in order to incorporate the elements of "Hanno" and "Finland", the birthplace of Moomin, to incorporate "genuine Finnish concept design", the "Hanno Station Renewal concept design Competition" for designers in Finland was held in 2017. Seibu Railway Co., Ltd. and the Finnish Embassy co-sponsored the renovation work based on the best concept design of this competition.
We were in charge of the secretariat work for the concept design competition, interiors design, interiors construction, and opening ceremony work.
