Green Park FLOOP

Fujifilm Business Innovation's Green Park FLOOP is a hands-on facility that will open in 2024 as a place where adults can make new discoveries and children can learn and think freely. It will allow visitors to experience various multifunction printer-related technologies while learning about environmental issues and Fujifilm Business Innovation's technology in an easy-to-understand way, and explore the future of a sustainable earth. In the four experiential displays zones (Studio, Technology, Think, and Action), visitors can learn interactively about future city development, multifunction printer technology, and environmental issues. The adjacent Cafe & Co-work offers an environmentally friendly menu based on the concept of "circulation."
The facility aims to provide an opportunity for visitors to think about and take action towards a sustainable future, while displaying the company's environmental initiatives and technological innovations throughout the facility. The aim is to create a new learning space that is open to the local community and where people of all ages can learn in a fun way.

In order to make the office entrance space open to the local community, the challenge was how to scale down the existing large, inorganic space and regular colonnade while still incorporating the company's identity.

To lay the foundation for the space, new columns were added to eliminate the regularity of the colonnade and segment the space, aiming for a comfortable forest-like atmosphere. The columns represent a graph of paperlessness, and the spiral white walls create a sense of mobility around displays space. The spatial concept that creates the company's identity is "LOOP," which expresses the connection between the rotary function of the multifunction copier and activities. The experience device also incorporates the spatial concept of "LOOP," and by integrating the message and experience, we aim to create a landscape that will be memorable to children.
