overview

FOOD STADIUM TOKYO is a food hall that combines entertainment and food, located on the second floor of the yellow building in Tokyo Dome City. It is just a two-minute walk from JR Suidobashi Station and was planned to become a new attraction for the local area.
Our company was responsible for planning and conceptualization, leasing cooperation, concept design and environmental design, construction, and furniture and fixture manufacturing.

The food hall features dim lighting and neon lights, creating a sophisticated atmosphere perfect for adults to enjoy drinks. A giant LED screen and numerous monitors of various sizes throughout the building broadcast sports and entertainment content. Experience the immersive and exciting atmosphere unique to an entertainment city, with approximately 480 different seating options to choose from, and enjoy a wide variety of gourmet food from 11 different establishments.

Issues/requests

They requested the development of a distinctive dining space for adults at the entrance to the dome.

solution

We were involved from the planning stage, and one of the requests from customers was for a "food court where customers can enjoy watching a large-screen vision," which required a total floor area of 1,580 m2, 11 tenants, and 480 seats.
Therefore, the Merchandising & Leasing team, under these conditions, set the positioning of the entire store and each tenant, based on a bird's-eye view of Tokyo Dome City as a whole and an understanding of the grade and role of the food and beverage offerings. Subsequently, design, layout, furniture and fixture manufacturing ・The Construction Management Team worked together to examine the spatial image unique to this location with a focus on the Dome's character. While collaboration with multiple parallel firms was necessary, we were able to help realize the customer's vision by assisting construction and property management operations as well.

Customer's voice

They deeply understood our development concept and the scenarios we wanted to realize, and proposed feasible plans along with attractive concept design. Even when we were forced to make adjustments due to budget constraints, they considered positive and realistic revised plans, and we felt that they were a trustworthy partner.
