This facility has been expanded to operate in conjunction with the existing EXPO'70 pavilion. The purpose of this museum is to permanently displays the first-generation Golden Face, which was installed until 1992 at the top of the Tower of the Sun, the symbol of the 1970 Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo), as well as displays materials related to the 1970 Osaka Expo. .
・Re-examining displays space appropriate for the museum and completing working drawings based on schematic design
・Consideration of plans for a new corner where those of the generation who did not know about the 1970 Osaka Expo can immerse themselves in that time.
・Verification of schematic design of the 10.6m diameter “Golden Face” displays, which is the museum’s main displays.
There were more issues.
・We read and deciphered a large number of materials, reconsidered displays story, and completed working drawings.
-As a new corner, we proposed an "EXPO'70 Experience Gallery" with face-to-face video, and completed it as one of the featured displays where you can experience the bustle and excitement of the time.
・In the "Golden Face" displays, based on design verification (structural calculations), we adopted measures such as reducing the weight of the base by using FRP and styrene, which led to solutions to structural issues.
