6th China International Import Expo 2023 Panasonic Booth

This is a project for the 6th China International Import Expo 2023 "Panasonic Booth". The Import Expo is the largest displays sponsored by the Chinese government with the aim of promoting the reform and opening up of the Chinese market to the world. This is the 6th time Panasonic has exhibited every year since the first year. The area is approximately 1,000 square meters, making it the most important displays for Panasonic as it aims to strengthen B2G and B2B relationships and expand its business.
Our company was responsible for design, layout, and construction of the entire booth.

The Panasonic Group's solutions are diverse, so concept design challenge was how to express a unified and easy-to-understand presentation throughout the booth, and how to make the booth eye-catching.

The two major themes for 2023 are "Environment", which is the group's global common theme, and "Living Space", which is a priority business in China.
The former is designed to embody Panasonic's environmental vision, "Panasonic GREEN IMPACT" (Chinese: "Green Chizo, Create the Future") by creating "curves" and "louvers" that evoke images of environmental elements such as "wind," "water," and "sky." The graphics and designs are based on organic concept design motifs using . The plan was to create an open space that conveys the image of the environment throughout. At the front of the booth, we have set up a city model that provides a bird's-eye view of a wide range of business areas, and we have designed a flow line from there to the concrete displays. Eye-catching hands-on displays were placed outside the booth as eye-catchers, including a welding robot arm that is essential to the EV manufacturing process, a smart cockpit that creates a comfortable vehicle interior, and a multipurpose automatic EV.
In addition, the latter "living space" was placed at the rear of the booth as a closed space displays, and concept design was devised so that the exterior evokes the impression of a two-story house. The interior space is designed to bring the sense of scale and materials closer to the real thing, allowing for a realistic living space experience with a sense of presence.

・The hands-on cockpit car and welding robot were the highlight of displays, serving as symbols of the booth and contributing to attracting customers, and were often used in media coverage photos.
・By securing space for the MOU signing ceremony in front of the booth, we were able to smoothly proceed with the ceremony and attract attention, which we would like to make use of next time.
・It was also good that we were able to make secondary use of displays, such as the city diorama, cockpit car, and hydrogen model.
