CARESE Marunouchi store

Our company was in charge of the antique watch specialty shop, which has an attached repair workshop, located on Marunouchi Nakadori Street.
Antique watches have been passed down through the ages, harboring the memories and stories of their owners within them. While embodying the memories of bygone eras, they also continue to mark new time, weaving stories for the future. At CARESE Marunouchi, concept design theme is to visualize this invisible "time."
The brass foil applied to the wall gradually changes color, drawing a parallel between the way brass changes its appearance over time and the passage of time in an antique watch.
Furthermore, the central fixtures are made of stone, representing the process of transformation from a rugged natural state to a polished, refined one, and their rich textures also evoke a sense of "time" within the space.
Located in the sophisticated Marunouchi district, our aim is to create a store that leaves a lasting impression on the memories of those who visit.

In addition to the sales floor, we would like to have a store that includes a repair workshop for watchmakers and a studio for photographing watches.
- The store is moving to a new location and they want to reuse the fixtures they used in the past.
We received requests such as:

concept design philosophy revolved around "creating a space where the clock takes center stage while expressing the passage of time," and we planned the space based on your requests.
The store's layout allows customers to see the repair workshop through a glass partition, enabling them to witness skilled craftsmen breathing new life into their watches.
・We repurposed glass tube cases that had been used in stores in the past, consciously aiming to pass on memories across time and place.

We have received comments from customers saying that it has a luxurious feel. Overall, it is easy to use.
