The biggest feature is that when closed, it blends into the surrounding environment, and when opened, a cafe space appears. The mirror façade reflects the surrounding environment and changes its appearance like a chameleon. As a kiosk unique to % Arabica, which has expanded globally, no matter where the store is located in the country, it will have a unique appearance in each location, rather than a pure copy-and-paste concept design. The photo shows the first store, which is located on Ningbo Heyi Avenue and consists of four units. Its sophisticated appearance blends into the atrium environment of the luxury shopping facility.
As the current pandemic has forced people to rethink the nature of cafes, there has been an increase in the demand for kiosks where people can enjoy coffee outdoors. This is not a traditional kiosk that simply sells coffee at a stand, but a new type of store where the unit slides open during business hours to create semi-outdoor seating, and seating areas can also be set up around it.

Kiosks can be placed anywhere, so they needed to be spatially versatile and fit in any space.

This concept design employs a format that allows the size of the kiosk itself and the seating pattern to be changed by combining units, and various spatial configurations can be created by opening it partially or in other ways. The mirror façade, which disappears from view when closed, is symbolic, yet coexists beautifully with the surrounding environment without creating a sense of oppression wherever it is placed. concept design is not complete when the designer creates it, but rather it will become different concept design as it is deployed around the world, and it is a beautiful concept design that will change its appearance over time.
