Nomura Co., Ltd. was responsible for designing and producing the new trophy that symbolizes the pinnacle of the B.LEAGUE PREMIER. The design was handled by Nomura Co., Ltd. no.10, which works on projects both domestically and internationally.
In 2026, its 11th year, the B.LEAGUE aims to enhance its presence in Japan and become a world-class league under the banner of "B. Innovation." The new trophy, embodying this ambition, incorporates iconic moments in basketball as well as traditional Japanese techniques and materials, aiming to become a symbol of pride for the world.

A three-dimensional representation of the moment the ball is sucked into the goal.
This design fuses the trajectory of the "SWISH" shot—where the ball shakes the net without touching the rim—with traditional Japanese techniques. It three-dimensionally expresses the moment the ball is drawn into the goal, while incorporating the structural beauty of traditional techniques. The design allows you to feel the movement of the ball being drawn into the rim from various angles.

As a partner of the Resona Group B.LEAGUE 2026-27 season, Nomura Co., Ltd. will deliver joy and inspiration through spatial design and other design-related activities, contributing to improving the sports viewing experience and revitalizing local communities.

Resona Group B.LEAGUE 2026-27 B.LEAGUE PREMIER OPENING SELECTION Opening Ceremony

An opening ceremony was held at the opening game on September 22nd. As a symbolic event marking the start of a new chapter in the history of the "Resona Group B.LEAGUE 2026-27 Season," the first year of the B.League Innovation, various events were held to reflect on the B.League's history and to heighten anticipation for the new B.League Innovation. At the end of the ceremony, the trophy symbolizing the pinnacle of the B.League Premier was unveiled.

Resona Group B.LEAGUE 2026-27 SEASON
Japan's top professional basketball league, the B.LEAGUE, will adopt a new league structure starting from the 2026-27 season. It will be restructured into three categories: B.LEAGUE PREMIER, B.LEAGUE ONE, and B.LEAGUE NEXT. 26 clubs will participate in B.PREMIER, 25 clubs in B.ONE, and 4 clubs in B.NEXT.
