NOMURA Co.,Ltd. 's involvement in the creation of the space "null²" for the Osaka-Kansai Expo has earned it the Grand Prize at the "Everyone's Architecture Awards 2026".

Yoichi Ochiai's signature pavilion for the Osaka-Kansai Expo, "null²," won the Grand Prize at the "Everyone's Architecture Awards 2026." Our company was responsible for interiors design and production, interiors design, layout, and interiors construction.

The third annual awards ceremony was held in cooperation with the Agency for Cultural Affairs and JINS. A recommendation committee consisting of approximately 30 volunteers, including architecture editors and architectural historians, selected the "Top 10 Amazing Architecture" from architectural works completed or unveiled during the previous year, and the "Everyone's Architecture Award" was decided by public voting via social media and other channels.

Hosted by the Everyone's Architecture Award Recommendation Committee, the Recommendation Committee selects 10 buildings that they are passionate about promoting to the world and announces them as the "Top 10 Amazing Buildings." The "Grand Prize" is awarded to the building that receives the most votes from the public across three public voting platforms: "X," "Instagram," and "Google Forms." The "Recommendation Committee's Best 1" is awarded to the building that receives the highest evaluation at the Recommendation Committee meeting that selects the nominated works for the "Top 10 Amazing Buildings."
