"IG Arena" Grand Opening on July 13th (Sunday) | NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of planning, design, layout, production, and interiors construction for multiple areas.

Japan's largest sports and music hybrid entertainment arena

IG Arena opened on July 13, 2025 (Sunday) in Meijo Park, overlooking Nagoya Castle in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It boasts a maximum capacity of 17,000 people, making it one of the largest arenas in Japan. It also features a 30-meter high ceiling and the first-ever hybrid oval arena surface in Japan, combining an oval shape suitable for sports viewing with a horseshoe shape suitable for concerts, enhancing both visibility and acoustics. The arena also incorporates overseas viewing and appreciation styles, such as a wide range of food and beverage outlets and hospitality areas. It is equipped with world-class functions in both hardware and software aspects.

The arena is scheduled to host the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament and will also serve as the home arena for the B1 League club "Nagoya Diamond Dolphins." The exterior and some interior concept design were handled by Kengo Kuma & Associates.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is responsible design, layout construction some of the suite rooms, the interiors, design, layout, production, interiors construction of the premium lounge, and construction of interior signage and other decorations for the "IG Arena," contributing to a high-quality entertainment experience. Furthermore, we have an official supplier agreement with "IG Arena."

Premium Lounge (d CARD LOUNGE)
Each area has a different atmosphere and character, with concept design themes such as "Owari" and "Mikawa," creating a space that is picturesque no matter where you look. You can enjoy carefully prepared meals while feeling the excitement of the venue in a space overlooking the arena.

Suite Room (MUFG Suite)
To balance the building's exterior concept design, which mimics the shape of trees to harmonize with the park, the artwork incorporates tree forms, and the sophisticated space is customized with glossy materials and colors to create a glamorous atmosphere.
