Creating “OsakaMIDORI LIFE” at “Grand Green Osaka”
The South Building of "GRAND GREENOSAKA," which comprises commercial facilities such as "Shops & Restaurants," the hotel "Hotel Hankyu Gran Respire Osaka," and the MICE facility "Congress Square Gran Green Osaka," will have its grand opening on Friday, March 21, 2025. NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of planning, design, layout, and interiors construction for multiple areas.
"Grand Green Osaka" is a mixed-use complex located north of JR Osaka Station, comprising offices, a hotel, core functional facilities, commercial facilities, an urban park, and residences. Its planning concept is "Creating 'Osaka MIDORI LIFE'" - a fusion of "greenery" and "innovation" - and it has been promoting urban development based on this concept.
In the preliminary opening in September 2024, parts of Umeda Kita Park (the entirety of South Park and part of North Park), the hotel "Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda" in the North Building, the commercial facility "Shops & Restaurants," and the core functional facility "JAM BASE" opened. Looking ahead, the rear section of Umeda Kita Park (part of North Park) is scheduled to open around spring 2027, with the full town opening planned for fiscal year 2027.

The concept of "Sense of Park" is a fusion of art and concept design, which echoes the city's theme of "Greenery and Innovation." The basement has a theme of "ore," the first floor has a theme of "green," and the second floor has a theme of "wind," expressing the unique, comfortable environment of a park.

A health promotion facility based on the concept of wellness and well-being. With five themes - hot baths, exercise, food, meditation, and beauty - the facility offers a wide range of services based on these themes, combining them to provide the perfect experience for each individual customer.

Home improvement store Kohnan proposes healing and relaxation centered on plants and aquariums, based on the concept of "bringing water and greenery closer to you." It is a new urban concept store that offers a wide variety of plants, the largest number of displays aquariums in the city, tropical fish from around the world, and highly specialized aquariums.
