Notice of Exhibit and Seminar at "SC Business Fair 2025"

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. will once again be exhibiting at "SC Business Fair 2025," the largest event in the industry where shopping center personnel gather.
As society's awareness of sustainability grows, the challenges we face are becoming more diverse. Under the theme of "Sustainable concept design as Envisioned by NOMURA Co.,Ltd.," we will introduce not only environmental considerations but also more concrete initiatives such as "R&D projects themed on 'materials = Earth's resources'," "utilization of domestically produced timber," and "spaces that everyone can participate in."
Our company is taking on challenges on a realistic scale, working together with businesses in each of our activity areas. Through dialogue via our activity introductions, we aim to build new relationships as a future-oriented partner for stakeholders facing challenges.
Additionally, a free seminar will be held at the event venue on January 23rd (Thursday). The creators involved in the planning and concept design of this booth will discuss with visitors how sustainable and vibrant spaces can be created in the future, using concrete examples.
About concept design approach of this booth
We face a mountain of social challenges. This time, with the theme of creating vibrant and sustainable communities for people, we will focus on sustainable materials, forests, and people, and introduce our efforts to re-examine NOMURA Co.,Ltd. 's spatial design business and challenge new areas as we address social issues one step at a time, starting with what we can do.
As concrete initiatives, we are exhibiting "noon by material record," a speaker made using sustainable materials in an R&D project themed on "materials = Earth's resources"; "utilization of domestic timber," which aims to "balance the creation of rich spaces with the creation of forests for the future" and involves developing concept design that make the most of the value of wood in collaboration with production areas; and symbolic displays of "spaces that everyone can participate in," such as "inclusive concept design," "sensor-friendly," and "spaces for children."
The booth is designed so that you can enjoy conversation with the attendant staff while wandering around the booth. We will convey that "We are driving a wedge into the mountain of social issues. As a company, and as individual employees, we are taking a diverse approach." Please experience our company's circulation of things and events and the creation of systems that utilize creativity.
