Chateraise Gateau Kingdom Setouchi, a unique resort that evokes the beauty of the Setouchi region, will have its grand opening on September 22nd. NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of the basic concept, design, layout, signage and graphic concept design, interiors construction, and floor and energy services.

Chateraise Holdings has rebranded the closed "Greenpia Setouchi" as "Chateraise Gateau Kingdom Setouchi," a resort hotel that combines its confectionery business with a stay-type resort hotel, and will have its grand opening on Sunday, September 22, 2024. The entrance, lobby, guest rooms, hot spring facilities, restaurants, cafes, signage, and more have been renovated, and the hotel has been reborn as a unique resort that allows guests to experience the beauty of "Setouchi."

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. participates from the basic concept stage, handling everything from spatial concept formulation design, layout, signage, graphic concept design, interiors construction, and floor-to-ceiling equipment (FF&E). They leverage their creativity to help create new value for the facility.

In 2025, a confectionery factory offering factory tours and an activity area are also scheduled to open.

With the concept design concept of "A unique resort that allows you to experience the beauty of Setouchi in harmony with nature," we created a space where you can feel the connection and charm of the Setouchi region's nature—its mild climate and beautiful scenery. We aimed to create concept design that leaves a strong impression on visiting guests by expressing the charming essence of Setouchi through colors and art.

"SETOUCHI WALL" expresses the beautiful waves of the Setouchi Sea, providing relaxation, healing and comfort in a casual space.
 

Restaurant: Ocean Bliss
The olive green color "SETOUCHI GREEN" is used throughout the space, casually and elegantly expressing the nature of Setouchi. The seating area is an open space from which you can enjoy a serene and beautiful view of the Setouchi Sea.
 

Hot spring facilities / large public baths
This modern-style bathroom space evokes the ever-changing, sparkling seascape of the Setouchi region.
The lines of light connect with the scenery of Setouchi, and the tile gradient from Setouchi blue to white, accented with Setouchi lemon-colored tiles, brings guests a sense of openness, surrounded by nature and the vast ocean, and offers expansive views of Setouchi.
