Work name: Neo Chinese Pattern (Taikoo Hui (Guangzhou) Exhibition Co., Ltd.)

Project Introduction
The facade concept design for the newly opened innovation lounge in Taikoo Hui, Guangzhou, China.
The goal was to create a facade using transparent 3D ceramic printing that would inspire new creativity while preserving the local culture and traditions.
By unraveling the history of patterns and automatically generating them using a uniquely developed program, we are exploring the possibilities of new tiles with a three-dimensional, translucent feel.
The algorithm for generating dynamic patterns ensures that a continuous concept design is produced regardless of which scene is extracted and selected.
In fabrication, 3D ceramic printing was used to minimize the expansion and contraction during firing, a challenge for ceramics. By directly outputting data and applying glaze, the resulting products achieved a richness of expression as art objects.
This is an attempt to expand the potential of ceramic 3D printing as a building material.
