Saga Prefectural Space Science Museum "Yumeginga," operated by NOMURA Co.,Ltd. as the representative of the designated management company, will undergo a complete renovation of its Space Discovery Zone on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is entrusted with the overall operation, management of cultural facilities such as museums and science centers, including research, education, and outreach, with the aim of contributing to the development of local communities.
Our company, as the representative of the designated management company, will be reborn on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Yumeginga was established in July 1999 as a communication facility connecting people and science. The museum has four displays: the Earth Discovery Zone, the Saga Discovery Zone, the Space Discovery Zone, a planetarium, and an observatory, and is popular as the only comprehensive science museum in the prefecture.
Twenty-five years have passed since the museum opened, and in order to create displays that looks to the future of the field of space and astronomy, incorporating the latest research findings in astronomy, which is advancing day by day, as well as new displays technologies, presentations, and interactive devices, we will be renovating the "Space Discovery Zone" on the 3rd floor.
The renewal concept is "A long journey into space - a grand drama of space and humanity."

[Space Time Adventure] In a large circular theater, you can experience everything from the beginning of the universe to the first star, galaxies, and even the birth of life on an impressive large screen.
[Planets Hopper] You can enjoy learning about the planets of the solar system while hopping between planets aiming for the sun.
[Fragments of the Universe and Me] A mysterious digital installation exhibition connected to the universe. You can experience the connection between us and the universe.
[Try Space Technology] You can experience the principles and mechanisms of rockets and artificial satellites using experimental equipment, and learn more about them on the explanation monitor.
[Gravity Jump] In addition to the moon (1/6G) that existed before the renewal, you can also experience the difference in gravity between Mars (1/3G) and Pluto (1/16G) by jumping! The images spread out in front of your eyes and the images on the floor work together with the jumping equipment, creating an immersive experience. You can feel like you are on a space flight.
[Launch the Rocket] Dash and jump to the rhythm! Gather up your power and try to launch a rocket from the moon, Earth, or Jupiter. This is a rhythm action game that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to adults. Let's learn about rockets and artificial satellites! The era then moved on to exploration of the moon and Mars. You can also experience a gravitational jump on the Moon, Mars, and Pluto.
[Artemis Program HTV-XG Mission Control Center] Become a controller for the new supply vehicle (HTV-XG) currently under development and dock it with the Gateway. Work together to deliver supplies to the Moon.
[Spectacular Space Journey] A viewing content that allows you to enjoy spectacular views of the universe, from the Earth to the solar system to galaxies light years away, created based on the latest observational data from the James Webb Space Telescope, the Hubble Space Telescope, and other instruments. You can feel as if you are gazing out at the spectacular scenery from a futuristic spaceship.
