NOMURA will also be participating in PASS THE BATON MARKET, which will be held in Shinagawa on Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th.
This exhibition is a unique flea market that sheds light on culture such as substandard and dead stock items that have been sitting in the warehouses of companies and brands, as well as unknown craftsmanship and traditional crafts. This time, the 15th edition, there will be two special features: ``Pas the Baton Pottery Market - Utsuwa's Waltz'' and ``Pachu Za Baton Market.''

NOMURA provides materials for crafts in the kids corner of Pachuzaba Ton Market, where both adults and children can enjoy.

The materials provided are scraps of marine plastic recycled panels made from recycled plastic trash washed ashore and buoys used by fishermen. Traditionally, composite plastic materials could not be recycled without being separated, and this work became a bottleneck in recycling. However, the key point of this panel is that various plastic resources can be recycled at once. Due to its unique texture, it is expected to be used in a variety of applications such as art works and fixtures.

At the kids' corner of Pachuzaba Ton Market, other participating companies are selling a variety of items that are unavoidably left out during the manufacturing process, such as tie fabric, hat brim, bamboo chopstick scraps, and denim fabric. Gather the materials.

The original material is recovered plastic floating in the ocean and buoys used by fishermen.
