“Tochigi Health Checkup Plaza” (Japan Health Management Association) relocated and grand opened on Monday, January 15, 2024.
NOMURA Co., Ltd. was in charge of architectural concept design, interiors, and furniture concept design.

In today's era where people live for 100 years, health management through regular health checkups (hereinafter referred to as health checkups) and comprehensive health checkups has become more important than ever. For many patients, the day of their health checkup is a special day that only happens once a year, and in order to make this extraordinary day a rich and special day, we strive to make our clients' wishes come true. The facility has been concept design with hospitality in mind, from the architecture to the interior and furniture concept design.

With a smart appearance that symbolizes advanced medical services and an elegant, colorful space, we aimed to create a facility that will become a symbol of the city and be loved by the local community. NOMURA will continue to support local medical efforts in order to increase the rate of consultation among citizens and promote local health.

STARTING WITH THE FUNCTION OF "ARCHITECTURE", THE concept design TEAM NAU (NOMURA ARCHITECTS UNIT), WHICH EXPANDS THE SPATIAL AREA OF NOMURA, AND THE INTERIOR concept design TEAM, WHICH SPECIALIZES IN THE HOSPITALITY MARKET SUCH AS HOTELS, TEAMED UP TO MAKE A TOTAL concept design FROM THE ARCHITECTURAL SCALE TO THE HUMAN SCALE BY UTILIZING EACH OTHER'S EXPERTISE. For the visiting health checkups, the psychological anxiety has been alleviated and a comfortable and comfortable stay experience has been realized.
