About concept design approach of this booth
As sustainability initiatives diversify, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. has also continued to take on various challenges, including the development of upcycled materials.
This time, we focused on the basic materials that are indispensable for constructing a space, and considered sustainable concept design by understanding the properties of these materials. By using different basic materials such as wood, cement, acrylic, copper, and iron and assembling them into a lattice structure, we created a booth configuration that encourages visitors to move around inside and enjoy conversations.
The booth concept design is handled by four designers from NOMURA Co.,Ltd., who have worked on award-winning projects both domestically and internationally. "Returning to the basics and understanding materials. It may be a small action, but if each and every one of us makes even a small change, can we change the future?" We will pursue new possibilities for materials through creativity and diversity in concept design, and approach social issues.
