Nomura Kogeisha Co., Ltd. was responsible for the planning, design, construction, and exhibition installation of the "Magical Literature Museum" (Eiko Children's Literature Museum, Kakuno Eiko, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo), which will open on November 3, 2023 (Friday, national holiday), under design supervision of Kengo Kuma & Associates, the design, layout partner, and art director Mario Kuboshima. Nomura Kogeisha was involved in creating a space that expresses the concept of a "world of stories" where architecture, landscape gardening, and exhibitions are seamlessly connected. After the opening, Nomura Kogeisha will be responsible for the operation of the "Magical Literature Museum" as the designated manager.

Library

The library, surrounded by house-shaped bookshelves, contains not only works by Eiko Kamono, but also children's books and picture books from around the world selected by Eiko herself, which encourage children's independence. In order to make the most of the books, the books are arranged on shelves without classification, allowing children to freely choose books and read their favorite books wherever they like.

``Black Cat Theater'' is a participatory theater with interactive video programs where you can enjoy conversations with characters and expand your imagination with readings by Eiko Kadono. Dive into the world of stories and unique characters created by Eiko Kamono.
