Nomura Kogeisha Co., Ltd. is the design partner of Kengo Kuma Architects for the "Magical Library" (Eiko Kamono Children's Museum, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo), which will open on Friday, November 3, 2023 (holiday). Under design supervision of the design office and art director Mario Kuboshima, we are in charge of planning, design, layout, production, and exhibition construction for the space of the facility, and are responsible for the concept of architecture, landscaping, and exhibition. I was involved in creating a space that expresses a ``world of stories'' that are interconnected. After the museum opens, I will be in charge of operating the "Magical Museum" as the designated manager.

Library

The library, surrounded by house-shaped bookshelves, contains not only works by Eiko Kamono, but also children's books and picture books from around the world selected by Eiko herself, which encourage children's independence. In order to make the most of the books, the books are arranged on shelves without classification, allowing children to freely choose books and read their favorite books wherever they like.

``Black Cat Theater'' is a participatory theater with interactive video programs where you can enjoy conversations with characters and expand your imagination with readings by Eiko Kadono. Dive into the world of stories and unique characters created by Eiko Kamono.
