Announcement of “Super Welfare School @ SHIBUYA 2023” symposium presentation

"Super Welfare School" is a forum event that has been held since 2018, co-sponsored by the NPO People concept design Institute and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, with the aim of realizing an inclusive society where people can learn and live together regardless of whether they have a disability or not.
The symposium will feature a diverse range of speakers who do not fit within the traditional frameworks of disability welfare and education. Concrete actions from across Japan, along with the latest examples of lifelong learning and education, will be broadcast from Shibuya to the entire country, both offline and online.
 

Three of our employees will be taking the stage to introduce our efforts in creating comfortable spaces, art-based programs, and community concept design.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. 's social good initiative consists of four R&D units. One of these, the "Inclusion & Art" unit, focuses on "realizing a symbiotic society through space creation and cultural and artistic experiences." We will introduce their efforts in creating comfortable spaces for diverse people, programs through art, and community concept design.

Speaker profile

Mari Matsumoto (designer)

Focusing on creating spaces for children and adults, we concept design comfortable environments for everyone, working together with users and stakeholders. Our theme is "connecting diverse people with society and the world through cultural and artistic experiences, and encountering new values," and we concept design spaces and experiential programs based on this concept.

Ryosuke Takasugi (Project Manager)

Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, they direct the creation of various spaces, including large commercial facilities, event displays, and art museums.
Having majored in art history during her student years, she possesses a deep understanding of art. Qualifications: Museum Curator, Architect (Second Class)

Naomi Kajimura (Planner)

Starting with communication concept design that embodies the business message, I plan projects in various fields, including showrooms, mixed-use commercial facilities, and hotels. My personal theme is creating operational systems in collaboration with diverse individuals, with the aim of ensuring the sustainability of the space.
